By Resolution no. 255 of 17 July 2023, the Giunta Capitolina approved the new Tourist Fee rates, effective from 1 October 2023.
The rates have been increased according to gradual criteria and in relation to the types and classification of hotel and non-hotel accommodation facilities.
In particular, 3 categories have been introduced for Guest Houses and Guest Houses and 2 categories for Holiday Homes and Apartments.
The Administration is in the process of adapting the GECOS platform to the new tariffs, in order to make it available as of 1 October.
It should be noted that the new tariffs apply to overnight stays from 1 October 2023, regardless of when the stay is booked, as the time at which the condition for the subsistence contribution (overnight stay) is fulfilled is relevant.
