Description

On 8 December, the Serra Moresca complex at Villa Torlonia, designed around 1839 by the Venetian architect Giuseppe Jappelli, will open to the public for the first time.

After a number of major restoration projects, conducted by the Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali and carried out by Zètema Progetto Cultura to a design by architect Maria Cristina Tullio, Villa Torlonia's Grotta, Serra and Torre Moresca are returning to their former glory, allowing the public to discover their beauty, magic and historical significance.
