Admission and ticketing
Concessions are granted to monthly or yearly METREBUS pass holders at all the museums belong to the Civic Museum Network.

- on Trenitalia regional trains (for one journey only, in one direction only, travelling second class)
Please remember that...
In order for it to be valid, you must always validate your ticket at the beginning of your journey and when transferring onto the metro (your ticket must be re-stamped within 75 minutes of the first validation stamp and is then valid until the end of your journey).
Validation stamping machines are installed: on buses, trams, trolleybuses and trains on the Rome-Pantano and Rome-Viterbo lines, in stations at the turnstiles leading to the metro, the Rome-Lido regional train line and Trenitalia SpA regional trains.
You must keep your ticket with you whilst travelling on public transport and when passing through metro and regional train stations and be ready to show it, on request, to ticket inspectors.
In the event that the validation stamping machine is not functioning correctly, go to the ticket office or the guard as soon as you get on a Trenitalia train. When travelling on public transport within the Municipality of Rome (buses, trams, trolleybuses, metro A and B), Co.Tra.L. coaches and ex-railway lines now run by Met.Ro. you must validate your ticket by pen, writing the date, time, station or number of the vehicle.

The card is valid for 3 days and is activated the moment that you first use it at an attraction or service. It expires at midnight of the third day of validity.

- Reduced ticket prices to all other museums and / or archaeological sites visited thereafter
- Free use of the city's public transport network (urban buses and trains, Underground lines A and B, Met.Ro trains: Roma - Lido, Roma - Viterbo for the Roma - Sacrofano section, Roma - Pantano railways lines within the urban territory of the City of Rome) Trenitalia trains and Cotral buses are not included.
- Discounted tickets to exhibitions, events and other collaborating operators and businesses.

For the calendar month as printed on the pass, for an unrestricted number of journeys.
How to buy one
Until the fifth day of each calendar month, you can buy the pass from any of the 2,000 usual shops.
After the sixth day of the month, the pass can only be bought from ticket offices and Atac sales points
Duplicates and replacements
Should it be stolen or lost, you may request a duplicate of your monthly pass.

How do I buy one?
By filling in the self-certification forms and attaching a passport photograph, the annual pass can then be picked up from one of the Atac ticket offices

Family Discounts
Members of a family unit, resident in Rome and not benefiting from further concessions, where one ordinary annual pass has already been purchased at the cost of € 230,00, have the right to a 10% discount on any other ordinary annual passes purchased.
In order to take advantage of this discount, a family certificate must be presented along with the full-price annual pass held in the name of another family member.

Zone A - which corresponds to the area of Municipality of Rome within the ring road - is equal to the purchase cost of 2 zones for € 30.00 (for instance: to purchase a subscription for zones A and B should be considered the amount of 3 zones. Zone A equal two zones + zone B equal one zone. Total 3 zones).
