Types: these can be day, month, six-month or yearly permits, and are different according to the circulation and parking areas of interest to the bus service.
Validity: long-term permits are valid starting on the issue date.
Rules: permits must display the vehicle registration, length, anti-pollution class, user’s name, and it must be visibly displayed on the vehicle.

A PERMIT
1-day, 1-month, 6-month or 1-year permit.
It gives the right to circulate in RTZ2 and to the short stay areas (15 minutes) in the authorised areas of RTZ2 (see list)

B PERMIT
1-day, 1-month, 6-month or 1-year permit.
It gives the right to circulate and to the short stay areas (15 minutes) in RTZ2 where allowed, to circulate in RTZ1 and to the short stay areas in RTZ1 in order to allow passengers to board/alight, at hotels, restaurants, tourist facilities, schools, and offices. It also allows hourly parking (max. 2 hours) in the special areas (see list). The permit will only be issued by providing evidence of the service to be provided; copy of such evidence must be kept on board of the bus and displayed on request of the relevant authorities.

C PERMIT
1-day, 1-month, 6-month or 1-year permit.
It allows circulation, short stay (up to 15 minutes), hourly stay (up to 2 hours) and long stay (above 2 hours) in RTZ2 and RTZ1 in authorised areas. There are a total of 300 “C” permits available per day.

G PERMIT - MAJOR EVENTS
1-day permit
It allows circulation and short stay in RTZ2 in the specified areas and/or in authorised areas.

E PERMIT - HOTEL SHUTTLES
Yearly permit.
It allows circulation and short stay in RTZ1 and RTZ2 and short stay for the time strictly necessary to allow passengers to Board/alight at hotels. It also allows the hourly stay (up to 2 hours) in specified areas (see list).

PRICES AND REDUCTIONS
Prices are based on the booking method, bus length (up to and more than 8 metres), anti-pollution class and fuel type (LPG, methane or electric-powered). All prices indicated in the table below are inclusive of VAT:

The following reductions apply to day permits and multiple-day permits:
10% for EURO 4 vehicles up to 31.12.12
30% for EURO 5 vehicles up to 31 December 2013
50% for LPG, methane or electric-powered vehicles
