Buying permits is easy but also compulsory to access the Bus RTZ of the City of Rome. Monthly, six-monthly and yearly permits can be requested from the offices of Roma Servizi per la Mobilità and can be paid by
bank transfer;
cashier’s cheque;
credit / debit card

Daily permits can instead be purchased on line on our website www.agenziamobilita.roma.it or at the Check Points. On the website it is possible to purchase permits by:
credit card;
by previously obtaining a bank guarantee or an escrow deposit (“deposito notarile”) to guarantee payment for the purchased permits.

At the Check Points, permits can be purchased by
cash;
credit / debit card

Website users that purchase by credit card can also buy A and G permits on the day they are required, while B and C permits must be bought before 7PM on the previous day. Users that subscribe to the loyalty programme of Roma Servizi per la Mobilità can purchase A, C and G permits on the day they are required, while B permits must be purchased before 7PM on the previous day. Loyalty programme customers may book C permits in advance without the need to enter the vehicle number, by paying a confirmation deposit of euro 30 when booking.

The booking will need to be confirmed before 3PM on the day before the permit is required. If the booking is not confirmed, the deposit will be forfeited. The vehicle registration can be added up to 7AM on the day the permit is required. All booked permits may be cancelled until 3 p.m. the day before they are required. Once displayed or printed, permits cannot be cancelled or reimbursed. Check Point users can buy a permit for the same day or for up to 10 days after the purchase date. All day permits can be purchased at the Check Points. It is possible to purchase any C permits that are available from the quota of 300 permits.
