Description
Organized in co-operation with the Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica, this exhibition examines, through a series of key-episodes, the mutual influence, but also the tensions between art and photography starting from the moment when the new reproduction technique becomes a means of expression.
From the use of photography while planning paintings and sculptures to its competition with engraving, from the Futurist and Dadaist experimentation to pop art’s photographic take back, from performance to the progressive fusion of languages.
