Description
SANTA MARIA DELLA QUERCIA Originally this location embodied a church dedicated to San Niccolò. The name Santa Maria della Quercia was attributed by Giulio II, whose will was the presence in Rome of a sanctuary similar to the one in Viterbo. In 1727 Filippo Raguzzini rebuilt it with a central implant and a convexed façade with a single order surmounded by a big attic.
