Description
Founded by its current president Mikhail Gorbachev in 1993, Green Cross International has its headquarters in Geneva. It intervenes mainly in crisis areas afflicted by conflicts and by chemical and nuclear contamination. The Italian section, “Green Cross Italy,” is headquartered in Rome.
