On Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April, the 2019 Gelato Festival arrives in Rome, the eternal city for two days will become the capital of artisan gelato. The Roman event coincides with the "Next Generation" competition that will select the young gelato chef who will take part in the Gelato Festival World Masters in 2021! It's an amazing opportunity for the talented under-30s, and even more for the lucky guests!

Villa Borghese will host the festival, with 16 of the best artisanal gelato makers in the world, each of which will bring the flavors that lead to international success: you can taste their creations and vote for your favorite, but also discover the secrets of the gelato world between tastings, themed initiatives and educational workshops set up within the three large food trucks, including the "Buontalenti" which is the largest mobile gelato production laboratory in the world. All the flavours will be tasted in the competition, plus those of the sponsors, and participation in the gelato village.
