Description
The park gets its name from a well-preserved medieval tower, the Torre del Fiscale (XII-XIII A.D.).
The Tor Fiscale area, abounding with historical sites including 5 Roman and a Renaissance aqueduct, encompasses several stretches of the old Via Latina, which is flanked by a number of sepulchres and remains of villas dating from Imperial Rome.
The Casale Museo is also to be found inside the park, an underground room regularly holding exhibitions, as indeed is the Casale Punto Ristoro, where a variety of dishes using ingredients home-grown in the park may be tasted. Finally, the Punto Informativo provides visitors with useful information, maps, itineraries, a schedule of outings, guided tours, workshops, gadgets, books, while it also offers a rent-a-bike service
