Description
One of oldest musical institutions in Rome and Italy. It was founded in 1821 by a group of noble and wealthy bourgeois, singers and amateur instrumentalist, guided by the marquis Raffaele Muti Papazzurri. After alternate vicissitudes and interruptions of its activity it has now its seat in the Casina Vagnuzzi both for its offices and its school. The concert and ballet season takes place at the Teatro Olimpico.
Notes: In the Casella hall take place scientific and musical seminars, laboratories of dance and theatre, didactic activities for young students of string instrument and singing, conferences, events for schools.
