Description

The Art Centre was founded on 4 March 1969 under the pseudonym of 'Forma 20', a few years later, in 1975, it was officially named: "La Bitta" whose founding father was Maestro Carlo Speranza.
Present at the event were the poet Elio Filippo Accrocca, a pupil of Giuseppe Ungaretti, the writer Livio Jannattoni, director of the Library of the Ministry of Transport and the Historical Museum of the Railways, and the art critics Bonavita, Bonifati, Marucci, Mercuri, Riviello and Tallarico.

It has more than 1,500 events of particular cultural, social and solidarity interest.

The La Bitta Art Centre is a group of friends whose aim is to promote art in the broadest sense of the word: painting, sculpture, photography, book presentations and any other form of expression.

The venue has an area of about 45 square metres, well lit by spot lights dedicated to each work of art.

In total, about 30 works of medium format (50x70cm) can be exhibited.
