Description
Our December appointment for adults will be at one of the most interesting museums of Rome, the Centrale Montemartini.
Huge black steam machines make the perfect stage for the white marble of classical sculptures and for the coloured images of mosaics.
We are going to learn about Crepereia Tryphaena, a young roman girl found in a sarcophagus with her doll and jewels, and reflect on the power of materials like gold, marble and steel. We will be inspired by the animals and labyrinths of the marvellous ancient mosaics to experiment with fun activities.
