Description
La Luna sul Colosseo (The Moon above the Colosseum) is the main event of the summer archaeological season: the guided tour leads through the monument enlighten by the charming atmosphere only the Colosseo can suggest.
You will walk through the monument, reaching the most important spots, included the underground.
From the architecture of the amphitheatre to the levels used for gladiator fights, hunting simulations involving ferocious and exotic animals and similar entertainments.
The visit of the underground shows where gladiators used to wait before their performance.
You will walk where munera and venationes took place, having a great view over the depths of the amphitheatre: the hypogeum.
