Description

The project LANDSCAPE WITH SPECTATOR is an original proposal of 6 performances, on Friday at 8.30 pm and Sunday at 5.00 pm, directly inspired by 6 artworks in the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. A project conceived and formed on the space that host the event: not just a series of shows in an extraordinary site, but scenic interventions designed, deducted and inspired by the artworks of the Gallery. So the project presents itself as a site specific with the participation of young emerging talent and recognized artists.
From performance for Van Gogh and Pollock edited by Riccardo Vannuccini, to the happening for Marcel Duchamp edited by Maram Al Jaburi, from the tribute to Mario Schifano of Yoko Hakiko Company to the scenic study on Alberto Burri by Fierascena company and performance for Mimmo Rotella curated by Ferrovie Cucovaz,
each artist is invited to present his creation designed to act directly with the artwork in question, not only for the artwork as it appears, but also for what it represents in our imagination and yet, to present to the public at the same time and the artwork and the performer's reflection on the artwork itself.

The public access with the Gallery ticket with no surcharges for performances, so in addition to the performance the audience may visit the whole Gallery.

Event created by "Le scarpe di Van Gogh" with the support of Roma Capitale in partnership with Acea and Siae
