Also this year, at the Foro Italico in Rome, a weekend dedicated to health, sport, solidarity, and entertainment is scheduled.
Since 2011, year by year, this event called the attention of an increasingly bigger audience, becoming a highly anticipated event in many italian regions. We achieved many objectives: 440.000 attendances at the Health and Sport Villages, an annual growth of 20% and about 188.873 free chek-ups.
Eleven years of experience to provide specialist medical examinations, free screening and chek-up services to the national public, realized thanks to the support of many health facilities, who are partners of Tennis & Friends.
In 2022 we launched the new project Sustainability & Friends, aimed to organize several activities and events focused on the care and healing path of a special patient: the Earth and its inhabitants.
Also, Tennis & Friends has widely extended the activities dedicated to conferences, promoting scientific dissemination initiatives through meetings, debates, seminaries, training cou rses and cultural events. A long journey into sport culture and health with the purpose of continuing to raise the population’s awareness about prevention.
Since 2011 Tennis & Friends has been sponsored and supported by the greatest institutions: European Commission, Italian Government Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Ministry of Health, MIUR, Ministry of Defence, Joint Chiefs of Staff, State Police, Financial Police, Coni, Sport and Health, Italian Red Cross, Civil Protection and the main italian scientific societies: SIMIT “Società italiana malattie infettive e tropicali”(Italian Society of Infectious and Tropical Diseases), SIOT “Società italiana di traumatologia e ortopedia”(Italian Society of Traumatology and Orthopedics), SIU” Società italiana di urologia”(Italian Society of Urology), SIGO “Società Italiana di ginecologia e ostetricia”(Italian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics), AIO “Associazione Italiana di Ostetricia”(Italian Association of Obstetrics), SIO e ChF “Società italiana di otorinolaringoiatria e chirurgia cervico-facciale”( Italian Society of Otolaryngology and Cervical-Facial Surgery), FOCE “Federazione degli oncologi, cardiologi, ematologi”(Oncologists, Cardiologists and Hematologists Federation).
