Description
Pascale Marthine Tayou's work suggests a different and correct use of plastic bags, which have become emblematic objects of the contemporary human condition, a symbol of globalization, rampant consumerism, but also of the nomadic lifestyle that increasingly characterizes today's society.
This enormous sculpture is almost 10 meters high, made of thousand coloured plastic bags, and already exposed at the HangarBicocca inMilan, is put at the center of the Museum Hall, which becomes a gathering and meeting place with the intent to open up the museum to the neighborhood.
