Description
The exhibition features a series of documents and pictures to bring back the attention to a painful and soon-forgotten story, that of the eugenics experiments conducted by the Nazis on mental and disabled people (first of all children) between 1934 and 1945. The aim was to eliminate the weakest, all those people who didn't suit the Nazi's criteria of perfection and productivity.
The exhibition shows how the Aktion T4 represents a small-scale test of the Holocaust, in terms of bureaucracy too.
The initiative is curated by Anpi di Roma e del Lazio in collaboration with Agenzia per la Vita Indipendente onlus.
