Description
It is a festival for old and young people! It is a show for the Roman citizens and for tourists a true
folkloristic and historical event
The 1.300 participants dressed up in costumes of the time will parade from via della Conciliazione to ST. Peter’s
Every year the “Magi” arrive in Rome from a different place, together with the Majors of their city.
For this edition the “Comuni” of Giove, Acquasparta, Amelia, Otricoli e Sangemini will parade to represent, with coloured and imaginative scenographies, their history, their culture, their traditions and the products and resources of their own lands
The Magi are accompanied by historical recalling groups such as flag bearers, marching bands, 20 horses, a coach, three luxurious cars and the “Befane” representing imaginative sceneries, history, culture, traditions, products and resources of Southern Umbria.
