Description
On 1 June, the concert offered to ambassadors who are accredited to Italy and to the highest offices of State is held, as in previous editions: a concert with music by Mascagni and Beethoven performed by the Fenice orchestra conducted by Maestro Chung Myung-whun and broadcast live by RAI at 6.30 pm.
On 2 June, there will be the traditional parade on Via dei Fori Imperili and a partial opening of the Quirinale Gardens.
To comply with anti-coveting precautions, the traditional reception in the Quirinal Gardens for the country's political, economic, and cultural personalities will not be held. On 2 June, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the parade in the Imperial Fora returns, as always concluded by the display of the Frecce tricolori.
The opening of the Quirinale Gardens is not held in the generalised form: the gates of the Presidential Palace open only for a selected number of categories of citizens.
