Celebrations for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary:
- 7.30 am: Laying of a wreath by Fire Department personnel at piazza Mignanelli;
- 10.30 am: Live performances by the Rome Municipal Police Band at piazza di Spagna;
- 4.00 pm: Pope Benedict XVI pays homage to the Virgin Mary at Piazza Mignanelli beside the Spanish Steps.
