Description
The construction of the building started in 1911 as per German architect Franz Schwechten’s layout, but, due to the outbreak of the First World War, it was terminated in 1922. The impressive facade is hut shaped and framed by two bell towers. Inside, three naves are delimited by columns supporting the matronal gallery overhanging the aisles. The apse is decorated with a mosaic portraying “Cristo con il Testo della Legge”.
