Hall of African and Oriental Collections, thanks to the collaboration between the National Central Library of Rome and the International Association for Mediterranean and Oriental Studies - ISMEO. Its more than 200,000 volumes, 2,500 periodicals (both active and inactive), thousands of manuscripts and xylographic prints, maps and photographs, arranged in the two African and Oriental sections, make this library one of the most important specialised centres in the West.
In order to consult or borrow (if possible) a volume, one must look it up in the Library catalogue and then book it for reading (maximum 3 at a time), or borrowing (if possible and maximum 2), through the website when booking, the user will be able to choose in which room and on which day to receive it. The system itself will provide the option of borrowing the book or not.
