Description
Founded in 1901, the British School at Rome is housed in the classical building that accommodated the British pavilion to the Exhibition of 1911 in Valle Giulia. It accommodates scholarship holders (humanistic and scientific studies). Its library is most important for the history of Roman and Italian topography.
