Description
The Historical Museum of Military Motorization was founded in February 1957 with the goal of preserving and collecting the technical-historical heritage and the development process of Motorization in the Army. Now the collections have been moved from their first location within the Rossetti Barracks to the Arpaia Barracks in the same military city at the Cecchignola. The Museum keeps pieces of great value and of historical importance, such as the faithful reconstruction of the armored car realized by Cugnot in 1769 for the transportation of artilleries or the ALFA 1750 with which the famous racer Tazio Nuvolari performed his deeds.
