The Museum of the “Vintage Coaches” is the result of 40 years of passionate searching by the entrepreneur Romolo Appolloni and consists of 293 models (144 of which are exhibited) of different nationalities, functions, and periods. Each vehicle is in working order, restored in detail and equipped with artistic fittings. There are also several important pieces such as Anna Magnani’s carrozzella (cab) or the biga used in the famous race in the Ben Hur movie picture. About 100 saddles and harnesses coming from all over the world are exhibited with the coaches.
