Information
Sponsored by Roma Capitale and the Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali, in collaboration with ATAC, the Roma Pass is the city’s tourist-cultural card.
Valid for 72 or 48 hours, it includes over 45 museums, monuments, archaeological areas and experiences, including the Borghese Gallery and the Colosseum with guaranteed access upon reservation.
New additions to the circuit include the archaeological area of the Circus Maximus, the immersive and multisensory experience in augmented reality of the Circo Maximo Experience
The card allows freely use of the public transport and toilets of the P. Stop network, with qualified staff for tourist information.
Due to precautionary and containment provisions of Covid-19, museums and archaeological sites might apply special rules depending on the site.
Mandatory reservation, also for Roma Pass holders, is required for:

It is strongly recommended for:

Please note that most museums are generally closed on Mondays (with the exception of the Colosseum, Trajan's Market, Capitoline Museums, Ara Pacis Museum and Baths of Caracalla)

It is valid on all means of local public transport operated by ATAC (buses, metro A, B, B1 and C and railway lines Roma-Lido, Roma Flaminio Piazza del Popolo-Viterbo, Roma-Giardinetti), within the territory of the Municipality of Rome, including bus lines 720 and 520 from/to Ciampino Airport

The kit contains:
- the 72/48 hours Roma Pass card for museums / archaeological sites and public transport
- the Roma map with the Tourist Infopoint, the Metro Stations, all the Points of Interest and the addresses and web sites for easily reaching them.
The card is not transferable and must be filled in all its fields.
Always check procedures, times, and days of access of each site you intend to visit at the museums’ official websites and at the Roma Pass website, especially the #1.3 and #7 FAQs.
For info on reduced/free admission for specific age groups or categories of visitors in the Museums and Archaeological Sites managed by the State and the City of Rome, refer to the local laws regulating the admission in cultural sites.
Admission is free of charge on the first Sunday of each month at the state museums and archaeological sites (including the Colosseum).
The following museums are always free of charge, also without Roma Pass: Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, Museo Carlo Bilotti a Villa Borghese, Museo della Repubblica Romana e della Memoria Garibaldina, Museo delle Mura, Museo di Casal de’ Pazzi, Museo di Scultura Antica Giovanni Barracco, Museo Napoleonico, Museo Pietro Canonica a Villa Borghese, Villa di Massenzio
