Information
The MIC Card, for 5 euro, allows you to enter the Museum Network of Roma Capitale and in the historic, artistic and archaeological sites of the Sovrintendenza Capitolina, free of charge for 12 months.
The card entitles you to a reduced ticket for the exhibitions hosted in the exhibition spaces and providing for separate ticketing. The online pre-purchase of the reduced entrance ticket is mandatory.
The card is intended for those who live or study in Rome or in the Metropolitan City.
You can purchase the MIC Card:

- MIC CARD app (Android or Ios)
- in some Museums of the Sistema di Roma Capitale
- in Tourist Infopoints

The MIC card can be donated either in digital or physical form to another person, who is resident or studies in the Metropolitan City, verifying that the receiver of the gift has the necessary requirements: the card is not refundable and in the case that the requirements are not present it cannot be released.
The holder of the MIC CARD Digital GIFT can then activate his card via the Mic Card app or miccard.roma.it
The holder in possession with a physical MIC CARD GIFT can activate his/her card through the Mic Card app or miccard.roma.it or going to a point of sale of the Musei in Comune or one of the Tourist Infopoints with a valid identification document and a document certifying the possession of the requirement - and delivering (filled in) the specific Mic Card Holder Data Request Form.
Description
The card entitles the holder to a reduced ticket for admission to exhibitions hosted in exhibition spaces that require separate ticketing. Online pre-purchase of the reduced ticket at the entrance is compulsory.
The MIC is the card of the Museum Network of Roma Capitale which, for the cost of 5 euro, gives you for one year:
- free and unlimited access to the 18 museums of the network *
- free access to some archeological and historical-artistic sites in the city **
- direct access to the museum, no queues (subject to capacity and except on the first Sunday of the month and some temporary exhibitions) ***
- free guided tours with the researchers, thanks to the aMICi program
- direct skip-the-line access to the museum! (subject to capacity and excluding the first Sunday of the month)
- free and direct access to special events such as The Night of the Museums and Museums in Music
- 10% discount in the cafes and bookshops of the Museums (offer not valid for exhibition catalogues and not combinable with other ongoing promotions)
* free museums and free museums with MIC are included
** some sites require a separate payment for the guided tour by cultural associations
*** in the case of certain exhibitions inside the museum, it may be necessary to go to the ticket office to collect the free exhibition ticket

Who can use the MIC Card
You can use the MIC if you are:
- an adult resident in Rome or in the Città Metropolitana of Rome
- a student at public or private universities in the area of the Città Metropolitana of Rome
- an adult domiciled in Rome or in the Città Metropolitana of Rome
